Same bakers, same process, same commitment to getting it right every morning. We slow-ferment everything, shape by hand, and bake fresh daily. No shortcuts at either site.

About us

We started BEK in a family kitchen with a simple belief — that good bread, made slowly and with care, is always worth it. What began as a passion project quickly became something much bigger. Our community in Southampton embraced us from the very beginning, and that support gave us the courage to grow.

Today we bake every morning across two bakeries — one on St Denys Road in Southampton, one on the High Street in Gosport. Every single item on our menu is made on-site, by hand, using our own sourdough starter and traditional slow-fermentation methods. We don't use shortcuts, preservatives, or anything artificial. Just good flour, water, salt, and time.

Our range covers naturally fermented sourdough loaves, flaky croissants, filled pastries, baked donuts, focaccia, seasonal specials, and more. Everything is made fresh each morning and available for collection from either bakery, or for home delivery across the local area.
