Croissants and street art on Gosport High Street

A quiet moment on Gosport High Street this morning: fresh croissants in the foreground, and just behind them a striking piece of local street art that stops us every time we walk past.

The mural, signed by "Thirteen Eight", has become part of the everyday backdrop here on our High Street, the kind of thing you might glance past a hundred times before you really stop and look. Today, we stopped.

Gosport has always been a town shaped by its history, its harbour, its naval heritage and its people, and its art tells that story in ways words sometimes can't. Walking to work past pieces like this is one of the quiet privileges of having our shop right here on the High Street.

Next time you're passing, take a moment to really look, and maybe grab a fresh croissant while you're at it.
